"Daniel Wisniewski is wonderful as Hot Dog, and, even though his secret is revealed (to us) early on, he is able to maintain an air of "too good to be true" that is appealing and admirable." - Atlanta Theatre Buzz
"Wisniewski is remarkably good as Richard III — a coiled serpent, a charismatic spider, a mixture of frightening, funny and surprising." - The Ithaca Times
"Daniel Wisniewski is fantastic as Hot Dog, whose name originates from one of his many jobs as a hot dog salesman. Daniel’s striking good looks, smooth vocals, and natural acting ability make audience members swoon." - Speakeysie.com
"Daniel Wisniewski is outstanding as South Carolina's Edward Rutledge, who thrillingly delivers a searing indictment of Northern hypocrisy on the subject of slavery in 'Molasses to Rum.'" - The Syracuse Post Standard
In Northeast Philadelphia, born and raised,
In the theater is where I spent most of my days...
I am a New York based actor who discovered his lifelong passion at the age of 11 in a grade school production of The Wizard of Oz. My portrayal of The Doorman became the stuff of local legend when I suffered a bit of a "wardrobe malfunction": the fake handlebar mustache I was wearing fell off of my face three times throughout my only scene. While embarrassing at first (with all of my relatives mimicking my prepubescent line delivery for many years to come), it was this moment that made me realize acting was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
I then attended the Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts before earning my BFA in Musical Theatre from Ithaca College. I later apprenticed with the Walnut Street Theatre, the oldest continuously operating theater in the United States. Since then, I have performed Off-Broadway, regionally, and in international tours. I have also broken into the world of voice acting, having become an official Collaborator with Podium Audio along with a variety of other credits. When not performing, I can currently be found participating in a DnD campaign with friends (with my current PC being a hobgoblin bounty hunter with a drinking problem, it's a great time).
